Introduction
This page contains the images and details of the stimulus presentation for the experiments reported in:
- DA Kahn, AM Harris, DA Wolk, GK Aguirre. (2010) Temporally distinct neural coding of perceptual similarity and prototype bias. Journal of Vision, 10(10):12, 1-12.
Stimulus construction details
The face images used were derived from the NimStim Face Stimulus Set.
Morphs were created using Gryphon Morph 2.5 in 25% increments between the two endpoint faces. Resulting faces were cropped using the same 3-pixel feathered elliptical outline in Photoshop and saved as grayscale bitmaps.
