The lab uses docuwiki and is organized with multiple namespaces. The principle namespaces are public and private. If you create a new link from a private page, it will be created in the private namespace and will itself be private. To create a link to a new, private page from a public page (e.g., the start page), pre-pend the page page name with the path to the private namespace:

:private:my_new_wiki_page_name

Finally, when a public page has a link to a private page, it is polite to indicate this status on the link. Place the text PAGELOCKED (all caps) after the link, and a lock icon will be shown.
