The lab uses [[http://www.dokuwiki.org/dokuwiki|docuwiki]] and is organized with multiple [[http://www.dokuwiki.org/namespaces|namespaces]]. The principle namespaces are ''public'' and ''private''. If you create a new link from a ''private'' page, it will be created in the ''private'' namespace and will itself be private. To create a link to a new, private page from a public page (e.g., the [[https://cfn.upenn.edu/aguirre/wiki/start|start page]]), pre-pend the page page name with the path to the private namespace:

  :private:my_new_wiki_page_name

Finally, when a public page has a link to a private page, it is polite to indicate this status on the link. Place the text %%PAGELOCKED%% (all caps) after the link, and a lock icon will be shown.
